The Doctor.

Back in 2008 I wrote a song about Doctor Who. It’s not that great but I thought I’d share it with you any way..

“A man with two beating hearts”- Based on the episode “turn left” of Doctor Who Season 4. What happens when Donna never met the Doctor?

Verse 1
If you ever see a little blue Box, high up in the sky.
It will be him, the lonely stranger,
Searching the skies, quickly passing by.
I met him just once, and I’ll never forget,
The eyes filled with knowledge, power and regret.
It was him, the one, the one for me.

At the first sign of trouble, he would appear
The man with no name, no worries, no fear.
Lonely,so lonely, on his own, all because the
daleks destroyed his home.
And so he fled from Gallifrey,
Just him, his box,and his mysterious name.
It was him, the one, the one for me.

Chorus
This Lord of time and traveler of space,
He traveled to the end, always leaving a trace.
His converse footprints printed on the sand,
This man of kindness, who was torn apart,
The man with two beating hearts.

Verse 2
We landed in Pompeii on volcano day,
But couldn’t change history.
As much as he wanted to save the people,
He just couldn’t let it be.
One wrong move, one thing out of place,
Would change things forever, alter the human race.
But still, it was him, the one for me.

Chorus
This Lord of time and traveler of space,
He traveled to the end, always leaving a trace.
His converse footprints printed on the sand,
This man of kindness, who was torn apart,
The man with two beating hearts.

Don’t you ever wish you could turn back time,
Press a button and….rewind.
Well, one time I was tricked and turned right instead.
The world’s at its end and the Doctor is….dead.

"Wasn’t it easier in your lunchbox days?
Always a bigger bed to crawl into
Wasn’t it beautiful when you believed in everything
And everybody believed in you?"

Taylor Swift

"Don’t you dare look out your window darling, everything’s on fire. The war outside our door is raging on. Hold onto this lullaby, even when the musics gone."

Taylor Swift
